It took a straight 48 hours to film the video, and it paid off because the YouTube video alone has made Psy a pile of cash. It was a huge hit in South Korea, but it also topped the charts in 30 more countries, including Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, and more. However, as catch as the tune is, the video has made the dance famous, and the video has hugely influenced popular culture around the world. The video has won awards, including Best Video at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
