It doesn’t matter who we are, we all need to challenge ourselves in life at some time or another. It may not always be the most pleasant thing for us to do but in the end, we find that it is something that benefits us in multiple ways. Challenging ourselves pushes us outside of our comfort zone and when that happens, it makes us more resilient and able to handle problems that may come our way. If we were never to have any challenges in our life, then at the first sign of any issues that we are facing, we would uproot and quickly fall over. That being said, not every challenge has to be frustratingly difficult.
Some people challenge themselves by working with numbers. I’m not necessarily talking about the type of issues that we had in math class at school, I’m talking about just doing simple number problems that can keep the mind occupied. Doing any type of math is an excellent way for us to keep mentally sharp but many of us have allowed that benefit to go away, perhaps even allowing computers to take it away from us. Exercising our brain cells can have long-lasting benefits and some experts even feel as if this type of challenge can help us with difficult issues in life, including Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
In order for you to benefit from a challenge, I’d like to present you with a few images. In the first image, you will see 1/4 over and over again. There is something hidden in it, 3/4, but it is only in there one time.
Some people who attempt this challenge are going to be able to find the solution very quickly and they might not even consider it much of a challenge at all. In reality, all of these puzzles are designed to be tricky because it requires you to keep an eye open for fine details rather than looking at the overall image.
Are you ready for the solution in the first puzzle? Here it is:
In the 2nd puzzle, you only have 5 seconds to solve it. It is an easy, and some people consider it to be looking for a needle in a haystack. In this puzzle, all of the letters are highlighted in yellow and there are a few Qs in the puzzle. How many can you find in 5 seconds?
That was difficult, but let’s go for 10 seconds and see how many you are able to find. You can even stretch it out to 15 seconds and see if you can find more!
After you have found all of the Qs in the image, then look at the solution below.
There are 9! How many did you get?
