There are times when doctors give us good news and there are times when they give us bad news. For Laura Hough, the doctors gave her both.
After being told that she was pregnant with twins, she was then told that one of the babies was not going to make it. During the entire pregnancy, she had to prepare for the worst to happen because it seems as if the placenta of one of the children was deteriorating.
The mother said that they had told her repeatedly that the baby was not going to make it and she had to endure while she carried the children. They decided at 30 weeks, they would perform a C-section.
All along, she was told that her little girl, Neve, was not going to live but when the children were born, it was actually the little boy, Louie who had difficulties.

It seems as if Louie’s lungs needed to be drained because he had air in them and they had collapsed. Fortunately, he did weigh 3 pounds so he was strong enough to make it.
Neve was much smaller, as she weighed just a little more than 1 pound and she did need some assistance. The doctors separated the two of them so that they could get treatment and then they were reunited.
When they came back together, a picture was taken of the two of them cuddling with each other. You can really tell that they had already formed a bond before they were born!
In the end, Laura said that the doctors had never seen anyone like her little baby girl. They never thought that she would live but she is breathing on her own and doing quite well.
