When most of us look back at 2020, we think about the struggles and challenges we went through. If we look hard enough, however, there are bright moments that really made the year bearable. One of those moments is when we found out that Bindi Irwin was pregnant. She shared the news on Instagram in August with the caption: “Baby Wildlife Warrior due 2021”. For any of us who have followed that young girl since she was a child and loved her father, it was a very proud moment. Even though she shared the news very early in her pregnancy, it was still something that gave us hope.
It wasn’t only Bindi that was excited about the new arrival, her husband, Chandler, was also thrilled. He also posted the announcement on his Instagram account, letting the world know that they had a ‘baby Wildlife Warrior’ on the way in 2021. It’s amazing to see a couple that is as excited about the arrival of a new baby as they are and they are both so confident that the other is going to fulfill their role as a parent in the best way possible.
Something else that was nice to see was that they were willing to take advice from parents around the world. As the replies started to roll in, you could see that many parents were thrilled for them and gave the best advice possible. I’m sure they were able to glean something from it all.
The family continued to post updates as the baby bump continued to grow. It won’t be long before the new bundle of joy arrives and until then, we will enjoy watching the new pictures and updates as they come in.
