This year many folks have celebrated and will celebrate popular holidays much differently than in previous years. 2020 has brought about a deadly worldwide pandemic that’s forced everyone to change certain habits and start new ones. However, it’s also been a year of some pretty terrible news with everything from “murder hornets” to “firenados” rampaging through California. We’ve seen all kinds of terrible things happening globally, such as the deaths of beloved figures such as NBA legend Kobe Bryant, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Jeopardy’s Alex Trebek, The original 007 Sean Connery, Black Panther’s Chad Boseman, and many more. And not long ago, Charlie Brown fans received a body blow that was just a bridge too far.
It was announced that all Charlie Brown specials will cease airing on free TV starting this year and will now show exclusively on Apple’s streaming service “Apple TV+.” However, after listening to the outraged protests and heartfelt pleas on social media, Apple has decided at least for one more year to allow two Charlie Brown specials to air on the Public Broad Casting Channel (PBS), which will make them available to everyone free of cost. Now, Apple had already decided to allow folks to stream the specials for free this year; however, many folks complained that they did not have fancy TV sets and devices with streaming services.
