An 18-year-old recently posted a disturbing story on the infamous Redditt “Am I the A**hole” subreddit about an ongoing situation between his parents that now imperials his future.
The teen explained how his dad recently uncovered his mother’s past infidelity, an episode that happened years ago. But now, the husband is questioning the paternity of all three of his children!
And while this revelation is most likely the end of their marriage, the teen’s dad still wants his children to prove they are his via a DNA test.
His father declared that he would not pay for their college tuition if any of his children proved not to be his.
The teen told of how his sister took the test, which proved she was his father’s biological daughter, but his brother has yet to be confirmed.
Because of this, the young man says he’s nervous about taking a DNA test because he’s always felt like he never looked like any of the other family members except for his mother.
Here’s his full post.
The young man’s fear goes far beyond losing college tuition. He also fears losing the only father he’s ever known.
It’s certainly a heartbreaking situation.
Many sympathized with the teen’s situation and felt the father was at fault for putting him in this predicament.
After he read a few of the comments, the young man made an edit saying that he’s now going to take the test.
Do you think the teen should take the test? Is the father wrong for making this ultimatum?
