It doesn’t matter what generation you belong to, when you look at children in the current generation, you are going to think they grow up too fast. That is part of a big problem associated with the generation gap, but there is also some truth to it as well.
Sometimes, we hear of a story that really brings that truth home. That story happened recently when a Russian schoolgirl got pregnant after dating a 10-year-old boy. She can be seen in the picture proudly showing off her pregnant belly.
You would have to travel to Zheleznogorsk to find that 13-year-old girl. It wasn’t long after she was on a Russian television show saying that Ivan, a 10-year-old boy was the father of her baby that she gained some worldwide attention.
In fact, some of the attention showed up on social media because thousands of people have become her follower after the news broke out.
When they showed up on the TV show, there were some arguments between different doctors. One doctor said it was impossible because he was too young to produce sperm and another doctor said they had tested the results of the lab several times.
A neighbor of the girls said that they were just blaming it on the boy because obviously, somebody else had done it.
The young girl insisted that she had only been with the boy and a psychologist who was looking into the case believed her. She said that she had sex with the 10-year-old boy when his mother was away from home.
She then went on to post pictures of herself at 20 weeks pregnant. There was no doubt that she was pregnant, but there were still questions.
This included some comments from the young boy who said that he knew she had never been with another man and that he was the father of the baby.
Eventually, they will do a DNA check of the child when the baby is old enough. The girl and her mother are trying to keep the child.
Her mother, 35-year-old Elena took her daughter to the hospital after she was complaining about not feeling well. The doctors couldn’t find the cause but after a pregnancy test kit was purchased, it became evident why she was sick.
The young girl is going to keep the child and the family supports her in her decision. It will be interesting to see where things go from here.
