At eight-years-old little Claire Ryann Crosby probably doesn’t remember a time when she didn’t sing. Her parents, Ashely and Dave Crosby, were college sweethearts, and the little girl from Seattle first went viral when she was only 3-years-old. Claire’s dad always had a love for music but felt the need to set his passion aside and find a “real” job to pay the bills. But, as little Claire grew older, he noticed that she also shared an ear for music. While talking to Parents.com, he remembered:
Then one day, while her dad was getting an oil change, little Claire began performing while they were in the waiting room. And that’s when folks pulled out their phones and begin to record her adorable antics. That’s when the idea came to Dave that he should post videos of Claire’s performances online. Claire’s first video was of her singing “Part of Your World,” a song from the 1989 Disney movie “Little Mermaid.”
Since that time, Claire’s gone on to have many viral hits, becoming an overnight internet sensation and little celebrity in her own right. She’s made appearances on shows like “Little Big Shots” hosted by Steve Harvey and appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show several times.
And since her first video, Claire’s been a very busy (and blessed!) little girl.

Thankfully, despite her hectic schedule, she found the time to record this incredibly touching Christmas song.

In the video, we see Claire singing “Holy Night” while wearing a white lace dress. Scenes of her singing are interlaced with scenes from The Nativity Story, such as when Joseph and Mary were desperately searching for a place for the night and the journey of the three wise men.
This performance is perhaps one of Claires’s most powerful and heartfelt as you can hear the emotion in her little voice. Her father writes:
