There is something special about going for a bike ride. It doesn’t matter where you are or where you are going, it is sure to be something special. One of the reasons why it is so nice to take a bike ride is because you get to watch the world go by at a faster pace. In fact, you never quite know what you are going to see when you are cycling and that is what a man in Greece found out when he was out for a ride. What he saw was more than some scenery, he saw something that changed someone’s life.
Vicky, who just so happens to be part of the DogHeirs community was out for a Sunday cycle near his home in Greece. It was a typical cool day on that weekend but what he saw was anything but typical. As he was out on his bike, he came across a little puppy and it had been abandoned, with someone leaving the poor thing on its own to care for itself. He knew that he couldn’t just leave the little dog out there to suffer, he decided to scoop the pup up and take him home.
The little dog was lost and alone, but one of the friends that was out with VIcky that day decided they would care for the pup and give him a forever home. Vicky said: “Lucky day for an abandoned puppy found on our Sunday bike ride within the countryside of Sparta (Greece) and adopted by one among the cyclists with great pleasure. Does anybody recognize what breed it is?”
The little dog is no longer lost and unwanted. He now has a nice, comfortable home to sleep in and some humans that are willing to care for his needs.
