Jimmy Fallon loves to bring superstar comedian Kevin Hart on his late-night talk show, “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” These two are friends from way back and they obviously have a great time together. Jimmy’s show always leaves us wanting more and his obvious joy in everything he does is infectious. He’s also a super-talented guy. So when Kevin Hart confessed to Fallon that he has an extreme fear of roller coasters, Jimmy was determined to help his friend get over this (very rational!) fear. How was he going to do that? By taking Kevin on one of the scariest roller coasters in the world, naturally.
On the show following this hilarious experience, Jimmy and Kevin talked about what happened that day. Kevin makes it clear that he does NOT like experiences like this. He said that even just sitting there talking about that day on the roller coaster had his palms clammy and he reminded Jimmy, “You know damn well I don’t like no roller coasters.” Jimmy confessed that he was a little scared, too. The ride they chose to ride was at the Universal Orlando Resort, where they rode the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, which they described as “insane.” In the video below, you’ll see these two grown men screaming their heads off like children, their hands in a death-grip on the safety harnesses.

The ride was pure comedic gold. Kevin was screaming his head off and closing his eyes, while Jimmy, also scared, seemed to be really loving it. It had everything that you’d expect on the craziest roller coaster ride of all time, including a moment where a bug flew into Jimmy’s mouth. When the ride was over, Kevin’s relief was palpable. However, Jimmy Fallon had other plans as he told the conductor of the ride to run it again. Kevin started screaming when he realized that they were going another round.
Kevin actually has tears coming out of his eyes as they talk about this crazy experience after the fact. Whether it’s from laughing so hard or from bad memories, it’s clear that these two funny characters have a good time together. Enjoy this video.
