When a woman gets pregnant, her body changes in lots of ways. Having had two babies, I’ve certainly experienced this. I didn’t gain tons of weight with either of my pregnancies, but things sort of shifted, you could say. It’s probably not even something anyone but me and the people very close to me would have noticed, and best believe none of them would have said anything about it! The thing is, women are already subjected to constant self-criticism because of the skewed societal expectations of beauty, and we sure don’t need the people who love us adding to that. Any husband who dares to do so is risking his neck and deserves what he gets from his beloved. A husband was unhappy with his wife’s recent figure after giving birth to their firstborn child.
Just weeks after returning home from the hospital, the husband was walking behind his wife and remarked, “Your bottom is getting so big, it looks like an old washing machine.”
